Host A Fundraiser
Want to help our animals but can’t come out to Columbus Humane to volunteer? There’s still a lot you can do to help. Host a fundraiser or a donation drive, for example. Columbus Humane relies heavily on donations to fund our work. In fact, more than 92% of our funding comes from donations and fees for services, such as adoptions.
HOST YOUR OWN PARTY
Host a brunch or happy hour and ask guests for donations to attend. Partner with a restaurant in town that wants to give back to Columbus Humane and invite your friends to participate. Have a jeans day at work. Sign up to be a team fundraiser for our events. Or have a bake sale. Whatever you choose to do, we will be grateful for your support.
HEARTS FOR PAWS
Host a “Hearts for Paws” campaign at your business or place of employment. Ask your customers and fellow employees to support Columbus Humane by making a small gift and receive a heart to print their name or pet’s name. Hang the hearts throughout the workplace to show their support for the animals!
Donation Drives
While we are always in need of dry and canned pet food for our food bank, we could also use some specific toys and interactive items for the animals in our care to help enrich their quality of life. Check out our Wish List to see the current needs. Also, you can now create a fundraiser on Facebook on behalf of Columbus Humane. Check our Facebook to learn more!
ADOPTION CENTER (NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED)
Monday - Friday 2pm - 7pm
Saturday - Sunday 12pm - 5pm
ANIMAL SUPPORT CENTER
Appointments are available from 11am-6pm M-F and 9am-4pm Sat-Sun. Same day appointments may be available. The entrance to the Animal Support Center is located at the side of the building. Call (614) 777 - 7387 for an appointment.
